I’m Timi, a cosmetic chemist and founder of Formulator Hub. I created The Smart Formulator Hub to make it easier for formulators to get the support they need. From ingredient research and fragrance blending to preservation and herbal extracts, this is your space to ask questions and move forward with more confidence. Each assistant here has been trained with my formulation logic to reflect how I teach and work. They are unlike Chat GPT; the assistants have a proper framework, database and guidance within which they must work. They’re here to offer clarity, save time, and support your ideas without overwhelming you. It’s not about shortcuts. It’s about making the journey feel possible.
Not quite. Each assistant knows their own topic. If you ask Herbie about emulsifiers, he will just blink at you. Fiona can't help with surfactants, Preston cannot help with botanical extracts. If you ask something outside their scope of expertise, they either refuse to respond or they may switch back to general AI, which still uses your credits. It is best to stick to what each assistant is trained for
